The Subway to the Sea Coalition will bring together environmental, business, labor and community organizations and leaders to champion a vital element of Los Angeles County’s transportation agenda: the Wilshire Corridor subway - the Subway to the Sea.
The Miracle Mile
We will champion the Subway to the Sea as an essential strategic system which, together with other systems being planned or built, will help Los Angeles County take a giant step forward in ensuring the mobility, economic development and environmental quality our communities need and deserve.
We will champion this system in the regional and county transportation planning processes, before local governments, in the State Legislature and in Congress, and in the local, regional and national media.
Third Street Promenade - Santa Monica
We will support new funding strategies for public transit in general and the Subway to the Sea in particular, including supporting state and local ballot measures where appropriate.
